An hour session that will take a look at what an IEP meeting should look like and what an empowered parent looks like to an IEP team! We will be a fly on the wall of an IEP meeting, pointing out parental rights throughout the meeting. Then we will create a clear vision of what an empowered parent sounds like and possibly looks like at an IEP meeting. As always, this session will include possible troubleshooting that may need to occur during IEP meetings, a few resources for parents and guardians, and a Q&A time for specific questions from those in attendance.
